Spent yesterday in London. Visited The Royal Academy to see The Glasgow Boys. I was particularly interested to see that James Guthrie and Joseph Crawhall spent time in Crowland, Lincolnshire where my mother’s family owned the Chemist’s shop. I enjoyed the vibrant watercolours - especially Crawhall’s ‘The Aviary’.
